Chinese is an important way to penetrate traditional culture as Chinese textbook contains a variety of traditional culture.How to make most of Chinese textbook to strengthen traditional culture education and improve the core competencies and values for Chinese students' development is the key question that Chinese education workers need to study urgently.First,taking teaching of Chinese compulsory textbooks for senior high schools as example,this study uses the text analysis to summarize the traditional culture that textbook contains from the macroscopic and microscopic perspective to help teachers know it completely,form a system and guide the daily teaching.Secondly,this study mainly adopts students' questionnaire and teacher interview and shows that there are still many problems in the implementation of the traditional culture education in Chinese teaching in senior high school.There are mainly six aspects after analyzing the causes : Attitude towards traditional culture is too materialistic;Teacher's teaching method is simple;Students' accumulation of traditional culture foundation is weak;Students don't have a better understanding of traditional culture;Traditional cultural contents are not systemic in textbooks;There is still a long distance between traditional culture and students' life experience.Finally,based on the present situation and the senior high school Chinese teaching practice,this paper puts forward seven countermeasures on how to use these content to strengthen traditional culture education as follows: Analyze thoroughly and pay enough attention;Use materials skillfully and arouse interest;Pay attention to accumulation along with the article at any time;Reciting training and perception of naive;Combination of reading and writing to deepen understanding;Expand entirely and form a knowlege system;Linking with practice and using it in daily life.In a word,the teacher should become the disseminator of traditional culture,using the teaching material content in the actual traditional culture teaching reasonably and effectively to promote the proper use of Chinese teaching material and improve the core competencies and values for Chinese students' development,thusthe Chinese traditional culture heritage is really promoted.
