Oil production unit cost control pressure continues to increase with the highly competitive market environment, resources succeeding contradiction and economic globalization. As the company's "third profit source", an effective way to improve efficiency, reduce costs and enhance the core competitiveness, purchasing management is widely recognized by energy companies.The paper analyzes the supplies purchasing practice in Daqing oilfield under the principle of cost efficiency. Based on a comprehensive understanding of the company internal material procurement system, the procurement process, procurement mode and other aspects. I summarized the status and operation model of oilfield and the problems during the operation of centralized procurement.Based on the theory of centralized procurement, I focus on the problems such as not meeting need of users, irregular management system and procurement cost control.In order to solve the problems during the operation of centralized procurement,help to regular the operation system during centralized procurement and reduce cost,improve the capacity to withst and a variety of risks and competitiveness, achieve steady earnings, I suggest setting the appropriate procurement management model that meets the production practice, o p t i m izi n g o p erat i o n m ech an i s m an d t h e in fo rm at i o n s ys t em ap p l i cat i o n s.
