Since the reform and opening up, the economy of China continued to grow rapidly. the regional economic growth of China was in a serious disharmony along with the rapid economic growth.the phenomenon is bound to cause a series of social conflicts and problems. Should these social contradictions and social problems are not resolved, it will inevitably affect the sustainable and rapid development of the regional economy. the Central Plains Economic Zone was officially incorporated into the "national main functional area planning" and written into the Twelfth Five-Year planning in 2011. visibly, It has attracted the attention of authorities to coordinate the eastern, central and western regional economic development. Although the rapid economic development of the Central Plains Economic Zone, there are a series of problems that need urgent solutions, for example, is economic development coordinated ?The purpose of this research is to analyze current situation of regional economic development through the Central Plains Economic Zone, according to the econometric model regression analysis, We can obtain the main factors affecting the economic development of the Central Plains Economic Zone to provide policy guidance promoting its development healthy. The author consolidated the coordinated development of regional economic differences and dynamics at home and abroad comprehensively and systematically in this paper.the theoretical basis of this paper is unbalanced development of regional economy, the new economic geography theory and coordinated regional economic development theory. The study found: the absolute difference in the Central Plains Economic Zone gradually expanded, but the relative difference has a declining trend after a brief rise by the time scale. so its relative difference has a decreasing trend, tending to narrow the differences in economic development, but the gap is still large. The development of the Central Plains Economic Zone shows significant center- periphery structure by the spatial scale, whose core is Zhengzhou, along with LuoYang, JiaoZuo and so on. The Central Plains Economic Zone has strong space correlation of which has significantly correlated in the development process.the Central Plains Economic Zone will be divided into three groups, namely, economic development areas, generally well-developed areas and underdevelopment areas through spatial bitmap and Moran,s scatter plot. The author uses SPSS multiple regression to screen factors in order to find the factors affecting its economic development. As follows: For the economic development areas, Total population, the tertiary industry growth rate, total import and export share of GDP, FDI share of GDP, highway mileage /regional area have passed significant test. For general well-developed areas, social workers proportion of the total population, urbanization, second industrial growth, the number of people in college students, local fiscal expenditure/GDP have passed significant test. For the economically underdeveloped areas, per capita arable land, secondary industry share of GDP, FDI share of GDP, million college students number, local fiscal expenditure / GDP coefficient is positive and significant. Finally, the author obtains suggestions on promoting the coordinated development of the Central Plains Economic Zone. As follows: economic development areas should accelerate the development of tertiary industry, fully mobilize foreign investment, emphasis on the construction of the city itself to attract investment, optimize traffic, control the population and improve population quality. Generally developed areas should strengthen labor training to provide protection for economic development, improve urbanization, accelerate the development of the secondary industry, improve the quality of education and strengthen the role of the government to promote economic development. Economically underdeveloped areas of agriculture should be a solid foundation to promote economic development, improve the proportion of secondary industry, strengthen education, promote economic development, focus on their own building strengthen the role of government to promote economic development.
