Household ceramic is the traditional and advantageous industry in Li Ling. In the past, the export of ceramics had made a great contribution for the development of Li Ling economic, because it was not only helping to get large amounts of foreign exchange but also helping to solve the employment problem. However, with the further development of economic globalization, Chinese businesses are facing new opportunities and challenges; Li Ling ceramic is also like this. In recent years, as domestic ceramics production increased rapidly, the competition in the ceramics industry is more and more competitive. At the same time, for the gradual disappearance of the demographic dividend and the rapid increase of labor cost, the price advantage of Li Ling household ceramic export is losing. Furthermore, for subprime mortgage crisis of America and the European debt crisis, the demand of household ceramics have been gradually tightened, along with the anti-dumping investigations and complex technical barriers to trade, the export volume of Li Ling household ceramics have been declining quickly. Li Ling household ceramics export trade is in in trouble and the export growth is continued to decline. This situation is not matching with its regional and industrial advantages. Therefore, it is necessary to make research on Li Ling ceramic export.In this research, the author uses quantitative analysis, document analysis and comparative analysis. In order to discover Li Ling ceramic export problems and propose advices to improve the bad situation, the author finished the research by SWOT theory, anti-dumping theory, technical barriers to trade theory and other international trade theory.This paper shows that Li Ling has many internal strengths and external opportunities for household ceramic exporting. At the same time, it also has many internal disadvantages and many external threats. The ultimate goal of SWOT analysis is to put forward appropriate strategies. In the SWOT analysis matrix, there are four strategies to be selected. In this time, we should choose weakness- threat(WT) strategy, in order to reduce the disadvantages and resist threats. Because there are more weaknesses and threats than advantages and opportunities for Li Ling household ceramics export. What's more, the weaknesses and threats have significant impact on the export of ceramics export.The strategies of this paper are put forward mainly from the perspective of ceramic enterprises. Starting from the brand strategy, there are five-point strategies. Then, there are measures proposed to deal with foreign anti-dumping investigations and technical barriers to trade. In addition, the government and industry associations can make same efforts to promote the development of Li Ling household ceramics export. Some strategies proposed reference Chao Zhou and other international ceramic brand enterprises' successful experience.
