In the current time, as the economy grows rapidly and market competition becomes drastically, it is harder for the hotel to make a success, and the key for the hotel is to employ the high-qualified staff, through training and educating, to make them work positively. That's why the human resources management becomes more and more important. One of the obstacle in the hotel industry is the employees' turnover phenomenon. How to reduce the rate of employees' resigning and to keep the staff working longer, is a very urgent issue for the hotel industry. As for human resource management, one of the effective measures is to make the scientific career planning for the employees, including devising the career goal and the ways to achieve it. In the hotel industry, the number of female employees is much more than that of male staff, so it is significant to pay special attention to the career planning of female staff. Based on that,this thesis discusses, taking the star hotels in Shandong province as examples, the career planning of female employees in hotel industry deeply and completely. Aiming at studying the career planning of female staff in hotel industry, firstly, the author analyzes the present working situation of female staff in hotel industry, finding out the problems;on the second, the author has done a sufficient investigation on the working status of female staff in hotel industry, discussing the factors which hinder the career planning;thirdly, based on the discussions above, the author proposes, from three aspects including individual, organizational, and social perspectives, the appropriate suggestions for the career planning of female employees in hotel industry, which can effectively solve the female employees' turnover problem in hotel industry. This thesis, taking the star hotels in Shandong province as examples, studies the career planning of female employees in hotel industry, which is valuable; in theoretical perspective, it can enrich the content of female staff career; and in the perspective of practice, it can provide some effective measures to keep the staff working stable to reduce the staff turnover rate. From the perspective of female staff, the thesis can assistant the staff to objectively think about the career plan in the long term, and to inspire them to work more passionately, reducing thenegative effect of role changing. In this thesis, various methods are carried though to achieve the ideal result, such as questionnaire survey, interviewing, literature,quantitative and qualitative methods, and so on. This research explicitly explores the measures of female employees in hotel industry to solve the female staff' turnover problem, being not only innovative in theory but also practical in reality.
