Research And Improvement On Equipment Management Situation In An Enterprise

Equipment, one of the production factors of an enterprise, has a close relationship with the production efficiency and economic benefits of the enterprise. With the rapid development of the manufacturing ind ustry, equipment becomes more complicated and precise, which increases the difficulty and the cost of its maintenance and repair, and equipment management becomes one of the focus of the enterprise management,especially the manufacturing enterprise. Combined with the overseas and domestic research status of equipment management, this paper aims to analyze the equipment management of an enterprise and find out the problems existing in the equipment management, and do some analys es and improvements.The main content of this paper are as follows:1.Through the analysis about the present situation of equipment management in the enterprise, these three prominent problems are found in this paper: high failure rates, long downtime and high maintenance cost. The relational graph indicates the links between them and propose to take improvement actions in these three directions: maintenance management, repair management and spare parts management.2.In the maintenance management, aiming at the high failure rates, implement the equipment classification management strictly, complete the equipment maintenance standards, reinforce the three-level point inspection, and strengthen staff training to intensify the equipment maintenance management.3.In the repair management, aiming at the long downtime and high maintenance cost, enhance staff skills training, set up fault decision-making base to support equipment repair and reinforce the repair management which is entrusted to other units to intensify the spare parts management.4.In spare parts management, aiming at the high failure rates, the long downtime and high maintenance cost, encode spare parts, strengthen procurement and inventory management, then replace the spare parts in time to intensify the spare parts management.5.Strengthen the statistics and analyses of the equipment failure information to find the equipment whose failure rate is highest or the high-incidence area of the equipment and then do some improvements.These four directions of research and improvement work have declined the failure rates, downtime, maintenance cost and increased the equipment management level.
