In recent years, due to the slow-down in world economic growth and traditional barriers to trade such as tariffs, import quotas under strict control by the World Trade Organization(WTO), more and more countries take the anti-dumping as the preferred protection tool. With the increasing deepening of the opening policy and the entry into the WTO, China's foreign trade economy has made remarkable achievements, but China also has become the main target of the world anti-dumping, which not only seriously affected the trade relationship between China and other countries, also restrict China's export trade and domestic related industry's survival and development, what's more, because of the complex and close technical economic relations between industries, anti-dumping will bring huge shock to the entire national economy of China. Because the anti-dumping duties are the main anti-dumping measures that China suffered, therefore, a comprehensive analysis of the effect of anti-dumping duties on China's industries is very important. This thesis firstly analyzes in detail the present situation of the international anti-dumping against China. Then, by using a model of multi-vendor oligopolistic competition, investigate the effect of anti-dumping duties on export trade, domestic firms and social welfare of the named industry. Finally, on the basis of analyzing the mechanism of industry linkage, construct the input-output price model to estimate the price spread effect of anti-dumping duties on the non-involved industries. Taking foreign anti-dumping against China's textiles for an example, this thesis carries out the empirical test. Results show: For the targeted industry, increasing the market concentration ratio of export firms and enhancing their competitiveness in importing markets can weaken the impact of anti-dumping measures on export trade; Such measures prompt domestic firms to shrink their production outputs over the long ter m, to a degree that depends on the level of competition among firms in domestic market and their sensitivity to the exporters; anti-dumping measure may change the domestic market price of the targeted industry, but regardless of how it changes, promoting d omestic demand for the targeted products is always beneficial. F or the un-targeted industries, as a result of the existence of industry linkage, changes in the price of the targeted product caused by anti-dumping will gradually pass to other industries by the industrial cost price linkage mechanism. When the targeted product is the intermediate inputs, because of a positive direct transfer, the price spread effect of anti-dumping duties on the downstream industries of the targeted product is greater than that on the upstream industries, and the spread scope is wider. A case of textile industry has also proved this point.
