Risk management is the core of modern commercial bank management, whereas credit risk is a key risk inherent in commercial banks. The credit risk management capabilities of commercial banks have a profound impact on the main business activities of the financial market and even the whole national economy. Since 2003, the real estate development loan has gradually become one of the core businesses of commercial banks in china. Recognized as capital- intensive industries, dependence on funding for the real estate industry is much higher than other industries. Real estate development loan has a magnificent contribution to the performance of the banks. Therefore, the credit risk management of real estate development loan has become the key job for domestic banks.At present, C hina's economic growth is slowing down, while the real estate industry prosperity index is also descending and the proportion of non-performing loans of commercial banks is on the rise. In this context, the commercial bank credit risk analysis, especially in the real estate development loan, has a very important theoretical and practical significance. Therefore, the choice of commercial bank credit risk management issues for this article is necessary.On the ground of the view of commercial banks themselves in China, this paper, combined with the author's own relevant experience, discusses credit r isk management methods in commercial bank, and summarizes the situation and regulation environment of real estate development loan. Then the paper gives a detailed analysis on operation process of credit risk management for real estate development loan. The paper also selects a few of typical case analysis of credit risk management for real estate developme nt loan. As a result, commercial banks are able to strictly control the credit risk of real estate development loan while maintaining business earnings in the downward economic cycle environment.
