Research On The Leading Causes Analysis Of Rural Elderly Economic Poverty And Countermeasures

Although the elderly population in the rural areas are faced with many types of poverty, but the economic poverty is the trigger source of other poor. Economic status of the elderly has a direct impact on the level of individual life and life satisfaction of elderly,the level of physical and mental health condition and so on.So this paper focuses on the problem of economy poverty in rural elderly population.To collect the data in terms of field surveys and interviews of the tenth group of Baojiaxiang village, Suizhou, found that the problem of economy poverty in rural elderly outstanding.Mainly in the rural poor old's income source channel is narrow and low level,medical cost is spending more, lack of daily life care and health care and other basic pension services.In order to improve this situation, a comprehensive and sub factors analysis of the economic poverty have been developed, that is generally low level of occupation, low level of education in rural population so that they were excluded in the high-end market, coupled with the traditional rural parental dedication, leading to the rural population in general failed to carry out self pension accumulation,.moreover along with the age growth, aging is irreversible, the elderly gradually lost its economic source of the core factors of production labor, unable to reverse their poverty situation. The elderly get the income source of the other two important channels are endowment insurance and children of the transfer payment, due to various reasons leading to low level of living of elderly people,and because the rural lack of general pension services, they together cause serious poor of the rural population in China.In order to solve the economy poverty problem of rural elderly population, we should improve the rural pension and the minimum living security system; strengthen filial obligations; to promote the development of rural medical insurance and the extension service; to accelerate the construction of rural old-age service institution; pay attention to the development of rural education, to improve farmers' occupation level and other measures to help the elderly increase support to improve the living.
