Research On The Strategies For Hubei Province Science And Technology Service Industry Cluster Development

Science and technology service industry is an emerging industry, the rapid development of science and technology service industry, which can promote scientific and technological innovation, and the transformation and upgrading of the economic development pattern and industrial structure, vigorously developing science and technology service industry has been risen to a national level, which has great strategic significance. Compared with Beijing, Jiangsu, Guangdong and Tianjin, which have advantage on science and technology service industry, Hubei province science and technology service industry has great improvement space. This thesis mainly researches Hubei province science and technology service industry development from the perspective of industrial agglomeration.Firstly, combining the existing research results, the connotation, characteristics, classification and function of science and technology services industry were summarized, the M class industry in the National Economy Industry Classification and Code(GB/T4754-2011) was regarded as science and technology service industry, which determine the scope of the research object; Secondly, the industrial agglomeration theory was Systematically expounded, and combined with the research object of this thesis, the important significance of the industrial agglomeration theory to research Hubei province science and technology service industry cluster development, as well as the application of the industrial concentration measurement methods in this thesis were pointed out; Thirdly, an overall situation of Hubei province science and technology service industry development was summarized through all kinds of statistical yearbook data, then two industrial concentration measurement methods, which are Location Quotient(LQ) and Space Gini Coefficient(G), have been used to analysis the present situation of Hubei province science and technology service industry cluster development through the vertical and horizontal comparison; Lastly, combining the status quo analysis, the existing problems of Hubei province science and technology service industry cluster development were summarized, which are agglomeration development imbalance, agglomeration development level is too low and agglomeration development focus unclear, and the performance of these problems have been analyzed, then some targeted countermeasures have been put forward to promote Hubei province science and technology service industry cluster development.
