Taxi, as a vehicle which be used frequently in daily life, even on behalf of image of a city. The taxi of large city is under strict control by government. Government, which as an interest distributor, transfer the right of management to taxi company through auctions, while taxi company transfer the risks to taxi driver. The interests of taxi drivers have been severe damaged by these assignments. Recently, the reason of taxi strikes and dispute phenomenon appear frequently, is not adapted to the monopoly of government and taxi company. Firstly, this paper examines a case of Shanghai taxi by using qualitative analysis method and case study, explains the two business model which be applied now in Shanghai, points out advantages and disadvantages, especially the contract management system which has severe damage the interests of taxi drivers. Seconedly it points out problems of two business model, and futher analysis the problems of monopoly, the abuse of power, black car flood and so on.This paper studies and analysis the adcanced business model of taxi of at home and abroad, combines the advantages of situation of Shanghai taxi, gives the advices of how to improve the Shanghai taxi business model. This paper images to break deadlock of taxi company monopoly, through controlling the total amout of taxi, opening individual management properly to reduce the monopoly and economy presspure of drivers; improve the auction system of car license and price ceiling; adjust the taxi price structure; use new information software to improve service mode and transportation efficiency. This paper considers making the future development direction of taxi clear, specificating the management of taxi industry, helping to solve the problems of taxi business model, providing the references of how to coordinate the relationship between government, taxi company and taxi driver.
