In April 2008, the Chinese wind power leader company-Gold wind Science and Technology Co., Ltd. acquired German R & D enterprise VENSYS ENERGY AG. The objective is to obtain Vensys'intellectual property rights and enhance our company's overall value. This is the first time that our wind power company has overseas acquisition. In April 2010, another wind power company in China - Xiangdian wind power company acquired Dutch Darwin, The motivation is as same as Gold wind's. In the past four years, China Government has strongly support of many organizations involved in wind power manufacturing, but our network facilities can not keep up, resulting in manufacturing industry overcapacity. National Development and Reform Commission has given wind power the "excess" label in the end of 2009. China will strictly control the wind power industry capacity growth. Meanwhile, the Government will support wind power in the field of mergers and acquisitions, hoping to generate 3-5 at home among the world top ten domestic wind power equipment business.This is the first time that Chinese government support in the field of wind power mergers and acquisitions. More and more domestic enterprises of wind power from the "localization" to "international standards." The case of Gold Wind will play a guidance role of overseas acquisitions.This paper combined with case analysis and economics related theory, analysis the Gold Wind overseas acquisitions from three aspects. Through the strategic results, the analysis of the two aspects of financial performance acquisition results and the summary to this case, the following enlightenment to our country enterprise overseas acquisitions is given:If one company needs to have strong competitiveness, this company must be familiar with the host country of the relevant policies and laws, grasp the market trends and acquisition opportunities accurately, with strong strategic consciousness and communication skills and ability of multinational culture consciousness and international integration, and attaches great importance to the labor rights protection after overseas acquisitions.
