Strategies Of The Protective Zoning And Land Use Of The Archaeological Site In Suzhou Downtown

Mudu Historic Ruins was the top ten archaeological discoveries in 2010,located in the Mudu Town and Xukou Town in Suzhou which is China's historical and cultural city,it's about 15 kilometers far from the west suburb of Suzhou,approaching the Taihu Lake in the south and The Qionglong Mountain in the north.A large-scale archaeological investigations and excavations of Mudu historic ruins began since 2009.It has been announced that the total area covered 24 square kilometers.Although the archaeological work is still in process,But the sites which have been identified within the scope of historical heritage and cultural relics unearthed is of great significance to prove the existence of the Wuyue culture.The process of urbanization in China has been developing vigorously in recent years.It impact on the archaeological site in downtown.The most important problem is the coordination between the protective zoning and the land use of Wuzhong.Bureau of Land Planning of Suzhou carried out “General Urban Planning Of Wuzhong District in Suzhou(2006-2020)”,but Mudu Historic Ruins has not been excavated yet.It leads to conflicts between the General Land Use Planning and the historical ruins land use,thus a series of construction and development problems had appeared.Based on the review on the present situation of the Mudu Historic Ruins,Emphasis on the key points of protective planning of Mudu historic ruins in Suzhou and the General Urban Planning Of Wuzhong District in Suzhou,analysis the correlation of them to determine the scope of the direct impact about the change of land use,and reflect the main influence on the Mudu Historic Ruins to land use.By state the influence of cultural relics protection division on the use type,strength,spatial structure and form of urban land.There will be an in-depth study of the conflict between the general planning and the protective planning of the historic ruins.Commence on the study of city economic development,residents regulation,and sustainable development to emphasize the inseparable relationship between land use and urban development.In view of the land within the scope of Protective Zoning of migration resettlement problems,this paper put forward constructive Suggestions strategies on the basis of research on urban land-use,as follows:The land policy should adjust to the management of the land resource,pay more attention to the process than the goals;Intensive utilization of land based on the industrial layout adjustment and optimization of industry economic structure,to develop the industry of science and technology innovation to drive the transformation of the city's economic development,so as to improve the efficiency of land-use;the residents' migration and resettled will be done under the unified urban planning,but also created favorable conditions in employment,ensure the quality of life improved.Effective land adjustments ensure industrial layout and the residents resettlement problems properly,and looking for a sustainable development way for the choices of Wuzhong District land-use strategies,the industrial economic development,migration and settlement of residents.
