Research On The Coordination Model Of China's Crude Oil Supply Chain Network Based On Contract Theory

As one of the important primary energies, crude oil is directly related to a nation's economy and security. The crude oil processed by refineries or petrochemical enterprises in China is mainly composed of self-produced crude oil and imported crude oil, and the crude oil is transported from its original production places to transshipment ports, and finally to refineries and petrochemical enterprises through various means of transport. China's crude oil supply system is a complicated supply chain network due to its components: various crude oil origins, different transport modes and multiple transit links. Since the supply stability of crude oil directly affects the economic development of the nation, a good coordinative competence is needed for the supply chain network. Crude oil supply chain is quite different from those traditional supply chains of common products in many aspects. The operation of crude oil supply chain is often influenced by many disturbance factors such as international economy and politics, geopolitics, regional war and conflicts, the third party intervention, and natural force majeure, etc. Therefore, to study the coordination of supply chain network for the system and overall points of view will be beneficial to enhancing the recovery capability of supply chain network under disturbance.Based on summarizing the current operational situations of China's crude oil supply chain network and the problems existed, this dissertation systematically analyzes the causes of the problems and the coordination nodes of supply chain network by using related theory and method of supply chain management, and extracts the internal and external influence factors of supply chain network. Then, the dissertation analyzes various disruption situations and the causal relationship through system dynamics method, constructs a contractual coordination model of crude oil supply chain network based on contract theory, and heightens the flexibility of supply chain network through model improvement. At last, the dissertation puts forward relevant countermeasures for the coordination mechanism design of China's crude oil supply chain network. To sum up, in the light of the network structure of China's crude oil supply chain, the dissertation systematically analyzes the crude oil supply chain network with system dynamics method, constructs a coordination model based on the contract theory for the supply chain network, thus, provides a decision-making basis for the construction of coordination mechanism, and the scientific coordination of refineries and petrochemical enterprises towards crude oil supply chain network so as to reduce crude oil shortage cost and enhance the coordinative speed.
