Analysis Of The Impact Of Foreign Trade Decline On Taizhou's Foreign Trade Enterprises

After the outbreak of the American Sub-prime Mortgage Crisis in 2008, the European Union countries, such as Greece, underwent a serious debt crisis. Since2010, the European debt crisis continues, the U.S. economy recoveries slowly, the protectionism is growing, and the trade friction between countries has intensified. The global economic structure and trade pattern is facing profound changes. China foreign trade is facing more severe situation and complex challenges.Since the reform and opening up, Taizhou, with the advantage of private economy, has created the Wen Tai Economic Model, of which the main feature is led by the private and promoted by the government. Benefiting from the unique geographical location, Taizhou has seen the rapid development of the foreign trade. In recent years, Taizhou imports and exports trade accounted for more than 40% of GDP,the development of foreign trade and economy has a high degree of relevance. The global economic crisis after 2008 has impacted greatly on Taizhou foreign trade economy. And Taizhou imports and exports trade volume even reduced in 2009. The global economic recoveries slowly, and the growth rate of foreign trade in Taizhou continues to decrease, showing a downward trend.This topic takes Taizhou City as an example, studying the current situation of Taizhou foreign trade development. Besides, QIANJIANG MOTOR is taken as an example to analyze its operating conditions under the environment of economic recession, and then to proposes the countermeasures. This topic is of positive significance to solve the problem of allocation of regional foreign trade structure optimization.This paper consists of six parts. The first part mainly introduces the research background and significance, the domestic and foreign research, research ideas and methods and the innovation and shortcomings of this paper. The second part introduces the current situation of foreign trade in Taizhou and comes to a conclusion that the foreign trade of Taizhou declines. According to the horizontal and vertical comparison, this part analyzes the structural characteristics of Taizhou foreign trade from five aspects like commodity structure, trade mode, market structure, major components and the foreign trade enterprises number change. The third part summarizes the existing problems of foreign trade of Taizhou. The fourth part takes the QIANJIANG MOTOR as an example, analyzing its foreign trade and putting forward strategic countermeasures. The fifth part is to put forward countermeasures to promote Taizhou Foreign Trade Economic development. Finally, the conclusion is given in the sixth part.
