Research On Integration Method Of Logistics Operations In Manufacture Enterprise

With the constant development of world economy, logistics operation integration is becoming more and more important in traditional manufacturing enterprises. Many enterprises start to realize that the benefit from integrated logistics is the largest benefit driver besides labor cost reduction. It results the increasing importance of strategy plan of integrated logistics. As the essential parts of the logistics activities, transportation, warehousing and package occupy the main costs of logistics system. Meanwhile, they play the important roles in logistics integration. Therefore, for manufacturing enterprise, building the integration method of logistics operations is becoming the key to reduce the cost of logistics.This dissertation focuses on logistics integration and the content includes the following parts:1. The dissertation analyzes the current situation in manufacturing logistics, highlights the concept of logistics network building and explores the significance and the trend of logistics integrative operations mode.2. The dissertation summarizes the transportation function of inbound logistics for manufacturing enterprise, describes the strategy of transportation integration, analyzes the method of transportation route optimization, discusses the strength of transportation freight standardization and detailed solution, and describes the detailed process of transportation integration strategy.3. The dissertation analyzes the warehouse outsourcing, indicates the strength and key factors of warehouse outsourcing, and describes the detailed process of outsourcing strategy. Then it also proposes the key performance indexes(KPI) for selecting the third party logistics provider and puts forward the improvement method of KPI.4. The dissertation discusses the material package standardization and brings out the solution of package integration. It analyzes material package integration plan and makes a definition of reasonable package inventory management, then describes the implementation process of material package standardization integration.5.Finally, a case of logistics integration in John Deere Tianjin Company is deployed in this dissertation. The application detailed process of the logistics operation integration are explained. Some important conclusions and suggestions are put forward in the end of this dissertation.
