The Historic Process And The Significance Of The Socialist Economic Development Path With Chinese Characteristics

In the Third Plenary Session that was held in 1978,a historic decision was made by Communist Party of China,in which the the party’s focus was shifted to economic construction and reform and opening up.Communist Party of China began to try to realize the innovation in the field of economy,which was the beginning of the socialist economic development path with Chinese characteristics.The socialist economic development path with Chinese characteristics is a new model of economic development that based on China’s national conditions.It is a new historic start of reform and opening up,which is guided by Marxism and positive and negative experiences of both domestic and international economic development.It is a practical form of socialist economy with Chinese characteristics.The exploration of the socialist economic development path with Chinese characteristics experienced a period from its beginning to continuous improvement.The aim of this thesis is to discuss the historic exploration of the socialist economic development path with Chinese characteristics,figure out the content structures of the path,summarize the significance of the path and find out the measures and ways to solve the problems that appeared in the economic development.The thesis has both theoretical and practical significance in removing the obstacles in the path of economic development and enhancing the confidence.The whole thesis consists of four chapters.In the first chapter,the author discusses the historic exploration of the socialist economic development path with Chinese characteristics from the establishment of the new China to the time before reform and opening up.The relation between Chinese socialist economic development path that was paved three decades before reform and opening up and socialist economic development path with Chinese characteristics is explained as they are in the same strain.And the former one is the origin of the latter one.In the second chapter,the author discusses the historic exploration of the socialist economic development path with Chinese characteristics from reform and opening up to now by Communist Party of China who is standing at a new historical starting point.The historic exploration is divided into three periods.Namely,the restart of the exploration,constantly deepening of the exploration and the discovery of new stage.In the third chapter,the content structures of the socialist economic development path with Chinese characteristics are figured out and the measures and ways to solve the problems that appeared in the economic development are found out.The content of the socialist economic development path with Chinese characteristics is divided into four parts.Namely,innovation-driven development path with Chinese characteristics,the new industrialized and informationized path with Chinese characteristics,agricultural modernization path with Chinese characteristics and urbanization path with Chinese characteristics.In the fourth chapter,the significance of the socialist economic development path with Chinese characteristics is summarized,which refers to solving the emerging problems in economic development,removing the obstacles in the path of economic development and enhancing the confidence.The thesis analyzes the significance of the socialist economic development path with Chinese characteristics in both theoretical and practical aspects.
