Research On The International Development Strategy Of Chinese SMEs

In the era of economic and technology globalization, small and middle-sized scientific and technological enterprises is playing a more and more important role in promoting the development of domestic economy and internationalization would be an inevitable tend for its continuous development. However, due to the lack of human and financial resource, as well as the difficulty in gaining foreign market advisory and establishing marketing network, there would be a lot of difficulty and dilemma met by small and middle-sized enterprises in the process of internationalization, and how to help small and middle-sized enterprises to realize internationalization also become a research hotspot.This paper starts from fundamental theories by reviewing on enterprises life-cycle theory, international investment theory and main international modes; then analyzes the current situation of Chinese small and middle-sized scientific and technology enterprises, which is characterized by high technology, high risk, flexible system, small size, weak financing capability etc, in addition, the reason for inevitable internationalization trend is also analyzed both from the internal and external angle, such as making full use of domestic and international market resource, avoiding trade barrier, improving self-competitiveness, alleviating employment pressure etc, what's more, the dilemma for the internationalization is also analyzed from the angle of self restraining factor, domestic and international restraining factor; next, this paper also makes a comparison between the small and middle-sized S&T enterprises internationalization modes of European Union, America, Japan and Korea; at last, according to enterprise life-cycle theory, the internationalization process of small and middle-sized S&T enterprises is divided into the forming, growth, mature and declining period, and the development characteristics and appropriate international strategy and mode for every period are also summarized, which is also demonstrated by Tianjin Jiu'an medical technological CO., LTD.
