ERP Applications In Group Catering Pattern Of Food Industry

Group meals catering industry is an emerging industry pattern, currently showing the rapid development of the state. In the future this industry will become more competitive, and competition will change from pure price competition to the comprehensive competitiveness of enterprises. Chinese food standardization and process optimization is a key bottleneck in the development of the domestic enterprise scale.The ERP system provide a good solution for the enterprise standardization and process optimization issues. Current researches are mainly aimed at general-purpose ERP softwares, and existing researches of the food industry systems are mainly for the traditional food industry segments, industry system research for group catering pattern is rare. This paper creatively applies ERP concept to group catering pattern in the food industry and proposes the theoretical and practical way of ERP system construction for this sub-sector.Traditional ERP applications are mainly for manufacturing industry, this paper summarizes the current application researches of ERP, and then focuses on the differences between the group catering pattern and the traditional manufacturing, points out problems raised from ERP application in the group catering pattern respectively from the views of functional integration, human factors, product operations, customization requirements, and implementation,applies customized software applications to improve the success rate of group catering ERP system implementation, and elaborates the key factors. This paper describes the ERP application using a combination of theoretical and practical approach and illustrates process of building ERP with a specific construction example, detailing the feasibility analysis, requirements analysis, functional modules design, data analysis, and process logic design and architecture implementation, which highlights getting user's system requirements with object-oriented requirements analysis method and mapping business processes to system's core processes, and introduces the key system architecture implementation methods, so that the application pattern described in this paper has more feasiblity and practical reference value.
