The Performance Evaluation Application Case Study Of Z Auction Company Based On The Theory Of The Performance Prism Theory

The auction industry in China has stepped into a stable stage of development in spite of its tortuous process of development as a new type of the financial intermediary service industry. With the high-speed development of the society and economy since the rise of the auction industry in the 1990 s, the auction industry has gradually developed laws and regulations, wide business scope and standardized operation procedures. The related auction institutions face challenges and opportunities of the operation and management when the auction industry becomes mature with such a rapid development momentum. In order to help the auction institutions survey their own operating conditions accurately and grasp the development status of the industry to form the unique competitive advantage and promote the enterprise achievement of the strategic goals, it is particularly important to build a set of performance evaluation system integrating the applicability, scientificity and validity within the auction industry.The paper is to apply the performance prism as the theoretical basis to the construction of the performance evaluation system of the auction company with the stakeholder theory as a guide by combining the theoretical analysis with the case company and considering the faults that the traditional performance evaluation systems pay too much attention to the interests of the shareholders and the limitation in the interests among the three correlations of the stakeholders, employees and customers existing in the balanced score card. The specific research ideas are as follows: the theory part expounds the research background and significance and promote the corresponding introduction and comparison analysis on the performance evaluation system and the traditional performance evaluation methods to put forward the applicability and the necessity of the application of the performance prism system on the auction enterprises by applying the pattern of performance evaluation system to the process of the performance evaluation of the auction industry; The case part chose the representative Z auction company as the target company as a case. It overviews the current situation and state of development of Z auction company and considers the strategic environment of Z auction company. Then it makes a comprehensive analysis of the complexity of the stakeholders and defines the stakeholders of the company. Finally, it designs the comprehensive performance evaluation system suitable for the development needs of the auction industry with a full consideration of the needs and contributions of each stakeholder hereby to formulate strategies and processes and guarantee the corresponding abilities through the qualitative and quantitative analysis of the relevant design indicators.A set of scientific performance evaluation systems should determine the evaluation systems and indexes in every way on the consideration of the elements such as the market environment, industry characteristics and conditions of an enterprise. This paper is to create a set of performance evaluation system suitable for the auction institutions and design a set of relatively perfect performance evaluation system of the auction institutions fit for the background of our country from the perspective of the stakeholders to explore a new mode of the performance evaluation to provide the basis of the performance evaluation of the industry or the enterprises and guide to help the launch of the work of the performance evaluation. Finally, it is to apply the performance prism evaluation model to the actual performance evaluation work of Z Auction Company. As a result, it improves the performance level and strengthens the strategic management. Meanwhile, it also plays a promoting role in the development of the performance evaluation.
