Since the global financial crisis, countries in the world has gone through adjustment and recovery for eight years. Although some countries have made some progress and achievements, most countries have experienced the overall economic downturn, slowdown in economic growth or even negative growth, the government debt especially that the government debt crisis in some European countries deepened and increasingly prominent issues of social working-age population. In China, there also have been some economic and social problems such as economic growth slowing down, state-owned enterprise reform, industrial restructuring and upgrading and college students employment difficulty. Faced with this economic situation, cultural industry has gradually become the highlight of China's economic development and spiritual civilization construction and indicated a new direction for China's industrial restructuring and upgrading due to its unique value chain, convenient means of communication, less physical capital investment, rapid incubating and training methods and good social foundation and broad influence.As a carrier of knowledge, human capital has been considered the core of an enterprise and it is one of the important ways to promote the structural optimization of the enterprise management and rapid growth of operating profit for the enterprise to increase investment in top management team(TMT) human capital. In this paper, the listed companies of culture are selected for the study based on the data of the first three quarterly reports in 2015 to carry out empirical research on the relationship between corporate TMT human capital and the performance of the listed companies of culture so as to study the possible influence on corporate performance especially on financial indicators from two aspects as overall TMT human capital and the difference of individual human capital of TMT members expecting to find the channels to optimize the TMT of listed companies of culture and promote the upgrade of economic and industrial structure.Firstly, in this paper, the author introduces the relationship between the TMT human capital and corporate performance from two aspects of the topic selection background and the study significance and prepares the ideas and content of the study. Secondly, the author summarizes the existing status of the research both at home and abroad on the influence of the TMT human capital to corporate performance, defining the concept and establishing the evaluation system of human capital, TMT human capital and corporate performance. Thereby, the author makes research design and research hypotheses, selects appropriate and measurable indicators to measure and makes empirical research based on the statistical analysis of the sample of TMT and corporate performance, the factorial analysis of each variable and the regression analysis of the relationship between the TMT human capital and corporate performance. Finally, based on the conclusions from the empirical study, the author proposes reasonable suggestions from the following three aspects as government, society and enterprises so as to achieve the goals to optimize the corporate TMT, to promote optimal development of the enterprises of culture and the upgrade of national industrial structure.
