Research On The Selection Of Logistics Mode For Zepu County

With the improvement of Chinese people' s living standard, their dem and on fruits has been increasing all the tim e and they have m ade higher requirements on the supply of fruits. However, the major fruits supply ch ains in China are decentralized and not well or ganized. Xinjiang is an agricu ltural province. In recent years, the fruits industr y in Xinjiang has developed at the fastes t pace. The backward l ogistics is the m ajor obstacle for fruits in Xinjiang to get out. On the one hand, the farm ers have faced great difficulty in selling their fruits for long and unable to inc rease their income. On the other, the fruits price in market is higher than consum ers' expectation and the supply imbalance has occurred in the fruits market. There are many logistics links during the circulation of fruits. Therefore, how to make efficient transport has becom e the prim ary problem requiring instant solutions. Under this background, this thesis has m ade a research on the selection of logi stics mode for Zepu County, aimed at solving the pr oblems existing in the fruits circulation there, helping the famers increase their incom e and enabling frui ts from Zepu County to reach all regions in China in a more efficient way.This thesis is m ade based on the field inves tigation on the c urrent logistics situation of Zepu County in Kashi of Xinjiang Province. It has m ade an analysis on the operation conditions of the fruit sales com panies and cooperatives there. Logist ics modes have been classified by the dif ferent logistic subjects in the fruits supply chain. Five fruits logistics modes existing in Zepu County ha ve been found, i.e. the cold chain logistics mode mainly carried out by fruits p rocessing and sales companies, the cold cha in logistics mode mainly carried out by dedicated fruits cooperatives, the cold chain logistics mode mainly carried out by wholesale markets of agricultural products, the fruits logistics mode mainly carried out by peddlers' markets and the fruits logistics m ode mainly carried out by brokers. F or further study, this thesis choses the logistics mode carried out by Zepu whol esale market and Zepu TaiRun Fruits Company as study case for an advantage and disadvantage analysis on different fruits logistics modes. Based on the above anal ysis and by considering the current condition s and foundation of Zepu County and learning fr om foreign advanced countries of their experiences in cold chain logistics development, this thesis has put forward a cold chain fruits logistics mode for Zepu County based on the info rmation platform. Finally, this thesis gives some suggestions on the operation of fruits l ogistics mode in Zepu County for the reference and basis of the local government in making relevant policies on logistics development.
