Study On The Rural Old Age Security System In Jiujiang County

Rural retirement pension system is the major issues which caused by thousands of aging population in rural; besides, it's a serious social issue with highly attention paid by central & local government.However, rural retirement pension system still not complete in current severe situation. Influenced by urban & rural population migration, traditional pension mode is facing a serious challenge. Therefore, rural retirement pension system plays an important role for harmonious society construction.A comprehensive study was made based upon the actual situation in M town, Jiujiang County. Considering the survey result, the development of rural retirement pension system and the specific case, we tried to clarify the solution for current issues.Focus on the subject of rural pension security, combined social background together with pension system's history development, a detailed analysis was finished for each period.This thesis comes from the analysis of a survey in 91% validity: sent out 300 pieces questionnaires, received valid 273 questionnaires. In order to clarify the reason for farmer participate new rural social pension insurance, author made the data analysis based on family structure, financial situation, life satisfaction, system knowhow, etc. Improvement & optimum proposal will be finished after author confirmed farmer's motivations.This thesis consists of 5 sections. The first chapter is introduction, mainly expounds the general situation on articles, especially for research background, significance, domestic & overseas situation, methods and theoretical basis as well as the innovation and deficiencies.The second chapter is the statement for pension security definition, methods & historical development, especially for concept and basic theoretical background.The third chapter contains: the background of survey and M town, further understand the reasons of rural retirement pension system.The forth chapter mainly describe the experiences in overseas, but also the suggestions & proposals for rural retirement pension system improvement.The last chapter is for the conclusion & further direction: 1) family pension mode, 2) community pension mode, 3) institution mode.
