The Research Of The Production Flow Optimizing Improvement To Davco Building Materials

The space for Davco company production and logistics was full and limited, But the demand from customer was increasing very fast. It was a big challenge for Davco management How to increase the production output fast to fulfill the customer demand inside the limited space. Each trade must have t he fast growing period and then the slow speed growing period. Davco also need fulfill the customer demand during the fast growing period with lowest investment and build the competitive edge in all management area.It will bring about continues development during the low speed growth period in the future. Lean production is the tool to get the biggest output with lowest investment. Find the bottlenecks, remove the bottlenecks, remove all the area waste are the target for lean production. It is not only able to solve the problem in the operations bug also build the competitive edge by the lean process and the people with lean thinking to understand the lean production, use the lean production in the operation management.This thesis takes Davco powder line as a typical object of study. Use the lean production tools—Line balance、Continues flow、find and remove waste、SEMD、TPM、6S、SMART KPI、production information system, Kaizen …etc. Collect the production data, Design the solutions, Use the solutions, improve the solutions, and then improve the efficacy and output obviously by reform the production line and change the management method without space enlarge. The equipment management and 6S also improved a lot. The onsite employs played active part in the improvement by kaizen、 TPM and better KPI appraisal. The management team and employs’ capability was improved a lot, This built the solid foundations for Davco ’s future.The study and the solutions inside this thesis is base on the lean managment concept, There is good thinking method and detail data record. It is not easy to find the guide on the continues flow inside closed pipes lines. The study and exercises on the Davco powder line found the method to improve the smilars.It not only h as a strong application value but also has strong reference value for similar trade.
