Research On Urban Public Transit Service Reliability Index System And Evaluation System

In recent years, with the development of society and economy of China, the requirement of improving the urban public transit service quality is continuously increasing. The problem of public transit service quality is always the focus regarded by public. Public transit service reliability is closely related to people's living standards, public transit service is the important embodiment of public transit service quality reliability, and it is the key factors when residents choose mode of transit for traveling, demand of passenger travel?competing interests of bus companies and sustainable of urban economic development,they urgently require reliable bus services, improve the reliability of the bus service is conducive to enhancing transit service quality and public appeal, it can effectively solve the traffic congestion, air pollution and other problems facing modern cities, effectively promote the harmonious development of urban modernization. From the practice of foreign, bus priority is the fundamental way to solve the problem of the urban traffic effectively. Bus priority is the core of the urban transit policy, in order to realize the continuous implementation has the corresponding development goals in different stages of development, suitable strategies and measures based on target.In this paper, we took city bus as the object to do research on city bus service reliability index system and evaluation method. Firstly, we elaborated the system reliability theory then present the definition of city bus service reliability. On this basis, according to the objectives and quality of urban transit service, we analyzed the concrete factors of transit service reliability from the perspective of both passengers and bus companies, presented the purpose and principles of constructing the city bus service reliability evaluation method, according to the characteristics of bus services reliability index system, presented the evaluation method of bus service reliability based on matter element analysis, using AHP and entropy method to determine the evaluation index weights. Finally, describe the development of Changsha city transit as background, to analyze Changsha city bus services reliability. The results of Changsha city bus service reliability consistented with the present evaluation.Results of this study can reasonably evaluate the reliability of the urban bus, Improve urban public transit service quality level of service had certain theoretical and practical significance.
