Job burnout is a set of negative syndrome arising from long-term work without relieving the pressure, such as extreme physical and mental exhaustion, quarrel with your bread and butter and no sense of accomplishment etc. It is usually be defined as three dimensions of emotional exhaustion, cynicism and sense of inefficacy. Job burnout is an emerging research topic in recent years, which starts late at home with less empirical research. In order to understand the impact of job burnout on knowledge-based employees, Maslach Burnout Inventory-General Survey MBI-GS will be adopted in the study, organizational behavior and human resource management theory will be as a guide. 400 knowledge-based employees serve the IT industry and the education sector in Xi'an as the research object, through questionnaires survey based on demographic knowledge to understand job burnout of knowledge-based employees and through interviews with ten employees to understand the causes of job burnout, finally put forward management strategy for effectively reducing the sense of job burnout. The whole thesis is divided into five parts: the first part is the theoretical premise research, background and significance, method and content; the second part is the relevant overview of the theory of job burnout and knowledge-based employees; the third part is review of research on job burnout; the fourth part is empirical research, the job burnout characteristics and causes of knowledge-based employees are obtained through questionnaires survey and deep interviews with knowledge-based employees serve the IT industry and the education sector in Xi'an, to further understand the current status of knowledge-based burnout;the fifth part is the focus of research which brought forward preventive and therapeutic effective management strategies on the basis of the status of knowledge-based empirical research, the purpose is to better prevent and ease the degree of job burnout of knowledge-based employees, and contribute to a more healthy development of enterprises and society; the sixth part is the research conclusion and reflection, which mainly introduce the theoretical results obtained by this study and deficiencies and improvements of the thesis, and look forward to the future research.
