Study On The Risk Assessment And Application Of International Long-distance Pipeline EPC General Contract Project

More and more petroleum engineering contractor enterprises get into international project construction market with the further development of “Go Global” strategy and the successive implementation of “The Belt and Road” strategy in China. International long-distance pipeline project is a systematic project impact of many factors in the economy, politics, social security and legal environment of the countries where the project locates in,at the time of gaining the profit from the project, often accompanied by high risk.Except has the characters of normal international projects, international long-distance pipeline projects of EPC general contractor still have some special characters, such as large, long duration, strong mobility, poor social support, and obvious influence by climate, terrain and geological conditions, its high risk has become the consensus of the industry. This thesis focuses on the risk analysis assessment and risk sharing study of the international long-distance pipeline project of EPC general contractor.From the standpoint of EPC general contractor enterprises in China, this paper tries to find an effective method and measure to solve the risk management in the international long-distance pipeline project in order to decrease the blindness in decision-making stage, reduce the risk in project implementation effectively, focus on the analysis of risk sharing strategy, improve the ability to deal with the risk, and promote the improvement of risk management consciousness and risk management ability of EPC general contractor enterprises.First of all, this thesis establishes the risk list of international long-distance pipeline project of EPC general contractor in accordance with the method of questionnaire, risk probability and impact matrix, got the ten key risk factors.Based on the questionnaire results, the thesis then develops the risk sharing study of key risk factors of international long-distance pipeline project of EPC general contractor with the principle of “half-adjusting” and the methods of mean value and one sample t test. Through the establishment of risk sharing principle, conform the key risk bearer, and discuss the key risk sharing results, further use of financial and non-financial means to propose ten key risk factor solutions for the international long-distance EPC general contracting of pipeline project, and points out the points for each response key risk factors. Finally, combine risk study theory with practical application of the international long-distance pipeline project of EPC general contractor, through the specific project to further validate and enrich the risk management contents of international long-distance pipeline project of EPC general contractor to lay a solid foundation for the targeted risk management in the future projectsIn conclusion, through the risk management study of international long-distance pipeline project of EPC general contractor will make the Chinese general petroleum engineering enterprises identify the components and dynamic changes of risk factors deeply and precisely, understand the importance of key risk factors, and analysis, evaluation and responseaccordingly. The risk management standard of EPC general contractor will be improved to enhance further competitive power of the enterprises and facilitate sustainable development of the “Go Global” engineering enterprises.
