Rice is not only the main crop types of agricultural production and an important food source in our country,but also China's most important source of agricultural income of farmers.Forty percent of the land area,sixty percent of the population in china, Rice production in the south has occupied about ninety percent of the country,it shows that rice production occupies an important position in the agricultural production in southern China.In recent years, natural disasters caused by climate change have threatened the structure of agricultural production conditions in many countries and regions, greatly threatened the food security of the world.As one kind of natural disaster caused by climate change, Seasonal drought also endangering China's agricultural production in the southern region.As a part of the agricultural production, rice production vulnerability constrained to natural conditions,sensitively response to seasonal drought,combined with the backward water infrastructure,and the lack of response for farmers,the influence of seasonal drought in the south rice production is more and more big,seasonal drought has become one of the important disasters affect rice production in south China,so analysis on seasonal drought rice farmers adapting behavior in southern china is important.The paper from the perspective of the farmers, use the southern region 755 household survey data,the farmers adapting behavior is divided into engineering measures and non-engineering measures.First analysis the priority sequence,the results show that:engineering measures in the first row is "construct and maintain cellars, ponds and wells".Non-engineering measures in the first row is "switch to other crops".Secondly, using the binary Logistic selection model empirical analysis the influence factors of farmers demand for seasonal drought measures,the results show that: farmer's cultural level, risk preference, village water facilities, the types of village area, drought severity, whether to receive government subsidies and other facts have a significant impact on farmers adaptive behavior decisions to cope with seasonal drought.Finally, according to the results of empirical analysis, and the south area actual situation proposed to strengthen the construction of water infrastructure,carry out the education and training to improve the farmers' culture quality of science and technology to improve the seasonal drought adaptability these five areas suggestions.
