Research On The Energy Consumption Intensity Of The Gansu Province

Energy consumption intensity is the amount of energy that a country or region in order to produce per ten thousand yuan of gross domestic product.The index is of great significance indicator to measure the complex using efficiency of energy in this country or region.Rapid economic development of Gansu Province,relying on a large number of primary energy consumption,the dependence of the economic relate to energy is too high.Based on the analysis of both energy consumption and the intensity of energy consumption variation of Gansu Province which in the same period.This paper modeled by decoupling theory,logarithmic Divisia index decomposition method and corresponding description statistics on energy consumption intensity of Gansu Province were studied,and then studied and emphasis on the largest impact of Gansu Province energy consumption intensity of the industrial sectors,the results show that,the energy consumption in Gansu Province has many shortcomings,and a big gap between the whole national average level,the efficiency factor plays a leading role in the changes of energy consumption intensity in Gansu Province,while relatively small impact of structural factors,even play opposite effect in most cases.It should be noted that the impact on economic growth of the total industrial energy consumption is significantly greater than the technical progress.
