Energy is of importance in production and the survival of mankind as a base material, which is not only one important component of our economic growth, but also providing the necessary raw materials for the production and livelihood. Therefore, energy issue is like a coin, which can promote economic development as well as hindering economic growth if failed to meet the requirements of the development. The experience of developed countries has proved that the coefficient of elasticity of energy consumption had inverted U-change between economic growth and energy consumption from the beginning of industrialized to the end of industrialization. In the early stages of industrialization, energy consumption will increase at a rate greater than the growth rate of economic growth while it is less than the rate of economic growth in the late stage of industrialization. So, is there U-shaped relationship between economic growth and energy consumption in China's elasticity of energy consumption, whether there is any kind of correlation and dependence? Does there exist differences between the municipal energy consumption and economic growth? Does there have a profound effect on energy consumption elasticity by adjusting the industrial structure? This article studies and analyses mainly on energy consumption and economic growth, which the variable is non-stationary and non-linear. We have a qualitative and quantitative discussion and analysis by using AWD theory, Correlation theory, Spatial statistical mode and set up the model which can provide empirical research and scientific basis for China's energy policy makers. This dissertation is divided into four chapters.Chapter 1 Introduction of a brief introduction to the topics. It includes the background, purpose and significance of this conclusion and foreign research trends and the main study.Chapter 2 studies the changes in energy consumption from the perspective of economic growth needs. First production function is a clear demand for economic growth and the relationship between energy consumption and energy derived entirely elastic coefficient, the coefficient of elasticity of energy consumption and energy intensity of the long-term and short-term changes in the pattern described, since China's reform and opening up of China's energy elasticity coefficient reason for the...
