YNDJ Company is state-owned enterprises subordinate to YJ Group with more than sixty years of development history. It is backbone construction enterprise in Yunnan possessing 3.5 billion RMB of assets till now with annual revenue being more than 6 billion RMB, and more than 1 million square meters of construction area. It possesses advanced construction level and technical experience in high-end, large scaled, exquisite and top-level construction field, which is the most powerful construction engineering enterprise in comprehensive strength in Yunnan. However, in recent years, with the great pressure of economic recession, slow growth in fixed investment, constant decrease in real estate investment and adjustment in national policies, the company's development confronts with new opportunities and challenges.By using PEST analysis method, the author analyzes the opportunities, challenges, internal as well as outside environment also sums up the strengths and weaknesses that the YNDJ Company faced using SWOT analysis model. Through SWOT analysis, the author draws YNDJ Company should actively take advantage of market opportunities to further expand their own advantages with SO strategies that take advantage of external opportunities and actively promote the company's main strategic advantage. But in the implementation process of the strategy according to different situations and different needs, YNDJ Company may consider appropriate WO strategy, WT strategy ST and strategy. Through comprehensive analysis of the YNDJ, the company's strategic vision is "to lead the industry classic, creating a century enterprises" and to develop YNDJ Company's strategies of operation, management, talents and overall strategies for another five years, and then work out on YNDJ Company's development as revenue topped $ 10 billion to enhance the "three Abilities" to accelerate the transformation and upgrading of the company in order to strengthen the specific strategies on personnel talent constructions. And finally, the author provides some supporting strategies about lunching the project and methods to face these risks.Through this study, the company aims to resolve the current downturn in the real estate industry of YNDJ to provide a reference on how to survive in construction industry slowdown. Finally the author also provide reference for the spanning development of the company by making" 13th five-year plan" and gives examples on the development for the similar domestic medium-sized enterprises.
