As the global economic growth, resource consumption level has kept rising. Environmental pollution has become the primary problem, which get serious attention from each country all over the world. However, there is still no resolution to the contradiction between economic growth and environmental pollution. Hence, how to use the new energy technology to replace traditional organic energy is the key to resolve the environmental pollution that caused by economic growth.DLCD company is the wholly-owned subsidiary of DHI · DCW group. The company has always been committed to the domestic wind power equipment research and production. Through constant technologic innovation and experience, the company has become one of the few domestic manufacturing enterprises that has the ability of independent research and development, produce wind equipment for heavy special machinery equipment, which filled the gap in the wind electrical equipment in entire machine design and assembling respect in our country. The company has a very good pubic praise and reputation in the industry. In 2014, DLCD worked with HTWY wind power manufacturer in Inner Mongolia to jointly develop wind yaw, variable propeller drive products. But because the present domestic wind turbine production level is relative backward, and lack of technical experience, there is still a difficulty even both companies cooperate on research and development to produce the new type high-power wind turbines. If it is not managed well with scientific and reasonable project skill, any risk and problem may lead to the project failure. Therefore, the project risk management is extremely important to project 2MW for DLCD.The first part of thesis elaborated the research significance and strategy, after understanding the study target; introduced the DLCD company and 2MW project in details. Through case study, elaborated the problems occurred in 2MW project preparations and implement processes. The following part elaborated on how to us advanced project risk management theory to conduct DLCD company and 2MW project risk assessment, risk analysis and evaluation. Clearly understand the financial management risk, time limit risk control, human resource management risk, social impact risk, technical management risk, enterprise culture risk management and etc. In the end, according to the priority of the risks, provided resolution and took action on feasible resolution and risk avoidance to ensure the project could be implemented smoothly and safely.The research contents of the thesis are the risk management problems occurred in 2MW project of DLCD, through using project risk management relevant knowledge and model, comprehensive grasp of the key risk problem and got it resolved. This not only resolved the worries in research production, but also avoided substantial economic losses for the company and the country. Additionally, it established a solid foundation of theory and experience for our country to enter the production field of high wind power equipment research and development. Hope the study of this subject can not only ensure the 2MW project smoothly implemented, but also can provide a reference for the peer enterprises on similar risk management issues in the further.
