Research On Manufacturing Enterprise Purchasing Management Optimization

With the development of global economic integration and the progress of science and technology, the competition in manufacturing product market at home and abroad is intensified which makes it more and more important for enterprise's development to implement the lean management and supply chain management. Purchasing management is an important part of manufacturing enterprises, and effective management of the procurement activities can help enterprises reduce production cost, ensure the quality of products, attract more customers and increase product sales volume. Effective purchasing is the precondition of realizing lean procurement management, and the lean purchasing management for enterprises is of great significance to reduce production costs, maintain strategic partnership with suppliers, and enhance core competitiveness of supply chain. Manufacturing enterprises attach more and more importance to purchasing management optimization as the application of lean production and lean purchasing.By reviewing related articles at home and abroad, this paper is to study related theory of lean production mode and lean procurement, to learn about the application development of lean production and lean procurement thought both at home and abroad, to investigate and analyze the present situation and existing problems of purchasing management in manufacturing enterprise. This paper is to etstablish the lean procurement model by addressing the problems of semi-finished products purchasing management in CG valve manufacturing co., LTD.( hereinafter referred to as the CG), applying ABC taxonomy to supplier classification and Delphi method to establish a semi-finished products supplier evaluation system and according to the safety stock purchasing strategy. This paper is to discuss and analyze the optimization measures of the implementation of lean procurement in CG from the respects of choice of suppliers, cost management, procurement process, personnel management and the like.This paper consists of five chapters, and the content of each chapter is as follows.Chapter 1 Introduction the origin, theoretical value and practical significance of this paper, an overview of the present situation of the research at home and abroad, review of related studies in purchase management and lean procurement, and expounding the structure and content of this paper.Chapter 2 Introduction of related theory concerning purchasing, expounding lean management thought, discusses the position and role of lean procurement in manufacturing, analyzing the effect of supplier management to lean procurement, sketching the development of procurement mode, illustrating the application of value stream analysis on the meaning of the procurement process optimization, and attaching great importance to the application of A- S- K model.Chapter 3 Describing the the present situation of supplier management, personnel management, safety stock, procurement cost control, procurement mode, and the procurement process in CG. Applying the method of qualitative analysis to analyze problems and causes of semi-finished products of purchasing management in CG.Chapter 4 Discussing the optimization scheme for purchasing and supply management of semi-finished products in CG, based on the idea of lean procurement. Applying ABC taxonomy to supplier classification and Delphi method to construct the supplier evaluation system; Introducing the idea of A- S- K to strengthen the daily management and professional training to purchasing staff; Introducing the idea of lean procurementto secure stock and reduce procurement costs; Introducing global sourcing and electronic procurement mode; Optimizing the procurement process of semi-finished products in CG, based on lean procurement and value stream analysis, by utilizing the method of process optimization.Chapter 5 Evaluation of semi-finished products procurement management optimization in CG. Mainly analyzing and evaluating the supplier management, personnel management, safety stock, procurement cost control, procurement mode, andpurchasing process.This paper discusses the optimization scheme of semi-finished products purchasing and supply management which provide a reference for similar manufacturing enterprises.
