Nowadays, competition between modern enterprises has become more and more severe. In fact, talent employees are what they are competing for. Human resource is one of the most important factors which determine whether enterprises could achieve their targets. It is known to all that Performance Appraisal is the core issue in Human Resource Management. The design and enforcement of Performance Appraisal System could help improve organizations' efficiency and realize the organizations' objectives.This research first analyzed A Company's current performance appraisal system, including the company's profile, organizational structure and so on. Then detailed explained the company's current performance appraisal system, including the assessment mechanism, incentive mechanism and the use of performance appraisal results. We revealed some problems in A company's current performance appraisal system, which includes that: performance appraisal did not match the company strategy, low recognition of performance appraisal, lack of commutating during performance appraisal, unscientific indicators, performance appraisal result fully utilized needed. What's more,we also researched the reason why would these problem happened.Based on the above problems in performance appraisal of A Company, we optimized A Company's performance appraisal system. We introduced the goal, ideas and principles of it, then optimized the indicators and weights. At the end, we put forward related guarantee advises including company culture guarantee, structural guarantee and organizational guarantee.This paper optimized A company' performance appraisal system, which is also useful to other enterprises to establish and improve their performance appraisal system, it has some reference value.
