The Internet has made the world economy more integrated, the reform and open also contribute to speed up the development of Chinese economy. At the same time, This has been increasingly fierce after China entered the WTO. Only strengthen the management of the company, improve the achievement of the company, to attain achievement in enterprise contest. Human resources as an important management elements of the business, so, strengthening human resources management is the premise to improve the performance of the enterprise; and performance management is the core of the former. Performance appraisal is the instrument needed to performance management. Traditional manufacturing, sales oriented enterprises economy is depending on the performance of the sales department, pay attention to the sales department is the only choice and cultivate a very good sales team so that the enterprises have core competitive advantage. Only by establishing a scientific and reasonable sales performance appraisal system, to retain outstanding sales staff. To establish a set of effective and fully adapt to the enterprise’s sales performance appraisal system, must conform to the company’s overall development strategy, pay equal attention to the process and results, collecting and monitoring performance evaluation data, the managers keep the dynamic continuous communication with the sales staff and feed back, influence their work behavior timely, cultivate and improve the ability to work, to complete the overall goal of the company, so that the company, employees and customers to achieve a win-win result.This paper is divided into five parts:First, the introduction part starts from the background and significance of the research, expounds the necessity of sales staff performance appraisal, then comprehensive describe the relevant theory and the level and trends at home and abroad, also introduce the content and ideas of this research.Second, the second chapter simply introduces the UNS, describes the sales staff performance appraisal system, points out the existing problems, and analyzes the causes of the problems.Third, to establish improvement ideas and principles on the company’s performance appraisal system, and puts forward some certain countermeasures from several respects including evaluation index, weight assessment, the assessment methods and so on, defines the evaluation time and main body, how to communicate and get feedback of the result.Fourth, after the improvement of the company’s sales performance management system, it is necessary to establish a certain security measures:the company’s corporate upper management should pay more attention to the system, cultivation of performance consciousness and corporate culture in employees.Finally, on the basis of a brief summary of the chapters of this paper research content, draw the conclusion:The sales staff improved performance appraisal system combined with the company’s business strategy, to establish a more scientific performance assessment indicators and assessment period, the research of sales staff performance appraisal system in the improvement of other industrial products manufacturing company has certain reference, at the same time puts forward some need to be perfected in the future.
