With the integration of global economy, China is facing with more opportunities and challenges. A large number of health policies made recently have affected pharmaceutical enterprises greatly. How can they remain invincible in the increasingly fierce competitive and maintain rapid development is a crucial problem. Rational utilization and effective incentives of talents are the motivation for the improvement of core and sustainable competitiveness of enterprises. Establishing and improving performance appraisal system plays a vital part in selecting talents, encouraging talents and retaining talents. It serves as an engine for the development of enterprises and talents. A sound performance appraisal system can promote implementation of strategic targets and ensure the consistency of enterprise development and personal achievements.DY Pharmaceutical Group has a history of 67 years. It was established in June 2009. In order to comply with new medical reform trend, the group conducts a restructuring plan and integrates 7 sales agents departments into a sales company including product resources, market resources, human resources, building an unified platform of DY preparation of sales. Human resources should meet the requirement of integration. A variety of corporate culture has a profound influence on performance appraisal system of DY pharmaceutical sales Co., Ltd.Performance management is changing with company's strategy, but there are still many problems, for example the evaluation index design is not scientific, quantification is not sufficient, goals are not clear and assessment is too simple. The article, based on theory of performance appraisal guidance, analyzes the problems in the existing performance appraisal system of DY pharmaceutical sales Co., Ltd. Using the method of KPI, the paper optimized performance evaluation system for business and the terminal sales staff, respectively including directors, managers, junior staff, and puts forward several measures.The paper is aimed at the application of theories concerned into the implementation of performance appraisal and the contribution to improvement of performance appraisal system of DY pharmaceutical sales Co., Ltd.
