Performance Management, one of the most important part in Human Resource Management, has a distinctive significance to development of an enterprise. More and more topics and discussions focus on how to form an effective performance management. The purpose of this thesis is to improve employee's performance and prosper the company.Most of medium and small sized enterprises in China have already implemented the Performance management system and other management systems in Human Resource Management. However, the outcomes of these management systems are passive. To take Zhongyi Electric Company as an example, a small enterprise among plenty of enterprises in China, it has already found problems in its performance management system implemented. Therefore, this thesis takes a case study on Zhongyi Electric Company on its performance management system with the theories and researches both home and abroad.First and foremost, based on a comprehensive summarization about current researches made by scholars, such problems as unclear understanding to performance management, obscure performance indicator, imperfect management system, and insufficient performance coaching of performance management system implemented by Zhongyi Electric Company have been found through asking its employees to do questionnaire, and to have a conversation. Then reasons causing the problems have been found out. Secondly, the status quo and the development strategic goal of Zhongyi Electric Company are analyzed. An improvement has been done to Zhongyi Electric Company in its performance goal, performance indicator, performance communication and so on. Ways, methods, and supporting measures on how to improve performance management are been put forward, the main control measures of performance management system implementation and training management. Last but not the least, an evaluation has been made on the effectiveness of improved performance management system. It turned out that an improved performance management implemented by Zhongyi Electric Company has improved its management by objectives, plans, management ideology, employees' performance, and reduced the brain drain so on and so forth.
