| Now, every year more than 15% of the cold-chain food is wasted because of bad refrigeration. The cost of transportation counts for 75% of the total cost of food, which is the present situation of China's cold-chain transportation. Thus, more and more people have laid emphasis on food cold-chain transportation and made research on it. Known as "small logistics", the transportation is very important, which has great influence on operation cost, food quality and service level. How to lower the transportation cost with the service level stable——which transportation pattern is the most suitable for the enterprise development has become the first question for transportation management.At present, China's third-party transportation development cannot meet the market demand. The cold-chain food enterprise can't wait for the development of cold-chain transportation. Therefore, most of cold-chain food transportation has been done by manufacturers and dealers.Nowadays, there is much research on cold-chain transportation, but most of it centers on center selection, route planning, inventory management sorting route and management information system. There is less research on food enterprise transportation management which has great influence, but the problem of cold-chain transportation needs to be solved. Under the circumstances, this paper makes research on the transportation pattern decision of food industry. It is hoped that it is helpful to managers in charge of cold-chain transportation management.This paper introduces the concepts and characters of food cold-chain transportation, analyses the present situation and development tendency, and list enterprise cases. It indicates that the selection of transportation varies, so the enterprise must make its decision based on its development stage. Applying data calculation and matrix graph analysis, this paper uses DF company as an example to explain how the enterprise selects suitable cold-chain transportation pattern for future development. |
