Study On Total Factor Productivity Of Grain And Its Influening Factors In Henan Province

Grain production in Henan province has achieved a twelve increase since2003,which has made great contribution to the national food supply,but the growth rate has decreased in recent years,The total factor productivity growth is an important means to promote the growth of grain production,and has an important influence on the sustainable and stable increase of output.Therefore,this paper mainly studies the grain TFP in Henan Province,on the basis of the analysis of henan grain production situation,systematic analysis the time and space evolution of grain TFP,and its contribution to the output of grain growth,its convergence and influencing factors,in order to grasp the features and laws of grain TFP growth,for later to provide reference to take relevant measures to improve grain TFP and improve grain production.In this paper,main content and conclusion including:First,from the grain production change,the elements input,single factor productivity,cost and benefit of grain production,grain production conditions five aspects to comprehensive analysis the grain production in henan province;Second,using DEA Malmquist method to measure grain TFP,in order to understand its time and space evolution characteristics,finding that since 2003,Henan province food TFP shows positive growth,the annual growth rate reach 2.6%,technological progress is the source of TFP growth,the overall technical efficiency present negative growth;Third,through evaluating the contribution of grain TFP to grain yield growth finding that,factor input growth is still the source of grain output growth,large increase in grain yield is often accompanied by a significant increase in TFP contribution,grain TFP's contribution to grain yield growth present obvious stage characteristics;Fourth,with the help of the new classical economic theory,the convergence test of TE,TP and TFP find that the TE,TP and TFP of all the cities in Henan province exist delta convergence,absolute convergence and conditional convergence,the difference between the three in every city will gradually shrink over time,but still exists,all the city will gradually development to its steady level;Fifth,through the establishment of panel data model to study the influence factors of grain TFP,It is found that the institutional variables have a positive effect on TE,TP and TFP,R&D investment has a positive influence on TE,and TP,but the effect on TFP is continuous weakening,the influence of human capital stock to TE is negative,but have a positive influence on TP and TFP;Through the study of the exogenous factors of grain TFP,regional economic development level,farmers' production and operation scale and urbanization level have a positive impact on TE,TP and TFP;restructuring of agriculture have a negative influence on TE,TP and TFP;Per capita net income of rural residents has a negative impact on TE,but it is not significant,it has a positive impact on TFP and TP.In view of the above conclusions,this article mainly from promoting technical efficiency level of grain production,promoting technology innovation and progress,promoting grain production scale operation realization,maintain grain-growing farmer,s enthusiasm to propose the suggestions to promoting the grain production growth.
