Research On Production Of Virtual Social Capital From Systematic Theory

In 1997, when most of Chinese have no conception to the word “Internet”, scholar Ruan Meiqin's articles Virtual Society Rivals the Real and Virtual Society Surpasses the Real show many fantastic images of virtual activity to readers, show attractive force of the invisible, but seems omnipotent virtual space based on Internet.Nowadays, most of those imagination had came true, and Virtual Society Combine its properties and real world's demands, develop more functions. That's virtual society's meaning of being:serve for real, and benefit to people.As a coin has two sides, the Internet has both its advantages and disadvantages.Emerging issues, such as network virus, hacker closely related to technology, and network violence, network fraud closely related to the social problems, both plagued the prosperity of the virtual community.The emergence of social problems is not the original intention of the majority of Internet users and network designers, which is one of the possible outcomes of the social, and the virtual society as a complex system. Virtual community is still in the progress of development, need in-depth analysis to the social system, foresee the impact of all possible actions to plan function of virtual community, enhance the complementary role of virtual society of reality properly. To solve those problems above, need to constantly improve the technology and updates laws and norms,set boundary for the virtual society, prevent anomie behavior firstly; on the other hand,from the perspective for the construction of the virtual society,need to promote a series of social identity construction such as social internal norms, trust relations, the spirit of cooperation,etc. Social capital is a theory often used in social management, and governance,is conducive to the promotion of good governance of implementation promote social stability and unity in the level of social development, and, at the community level it is beneficial to the community governance and development. Hence, to explore the way of production of social capital, promote the healthy development of the virtual social capital is a reasonable way to solve series of virtual social problems.Current virtual society is still not complete, so the track of its development and shaping progress is able to follow. This paper, from the perspective of social capital theory, according to the order of production embed the definition and elements of the social capital's production into the whole system, design the pattern of the produce/reproduce of social capital in the virtual society, and analysing properties,methods and possible improvements of virtual social capital production.The reason why social capital as "capital", is it has a similar function of reproduction as economic capital. Social capital absorb human activities, interpersonal communication, will able to have the ablilty of "self reproduction" which surpass economic capital. Completing the virtual society,make it become the normal functioning system, realize of virtual social capital reproduction finally, is the way to make virtual society becoming better and approaching perfection day by day, to meet the needs of people's lives and increase Internet users' quality of life, can really take advantage of virtual and creativity of virtual society to realize "virtual society surpass the real".
