Study On The Implementation Of Quality Management In Ship Manufacturing Enterprise

With the continuous spread of the financial crisis, the ship industry is facing a worse living environment. Difficult to delivery, difficult to accept the orders and difficult to financing have been urgent problems of ship enterprise. How to survive in this crisis, the most important thing for ship enterprise is to strengthen themselves by improving their own standard of quality management.The author takes RS company as an example, the company is the typical representative of numerous heavy industrial enterprises and is the largest private shipbuilding companies of China. Although the company has mastered some advanced quality management technology, there still has some quality management problems such as imperfect documents of current quality system so that there is the disconnect between system document and practical operation and the current quality system cannot guide production and management. Now the company has built up the training system, but the training process does not reach the training requirement of quality and manufacturing staff. It also lack the timely evaluation and the track of effects. And the management of suppliers is also deficient because the company has not built up systematic evaluation method to the suppliers and has not selected, arranged and analyzed the data of managing and controlling the suppliers effectively so that there exists some disorder in the management of suppliers. In the manufacturing process, this company over-emphasizes professional test. It does not pay attention to self-test and co-test of quality control in the production process. It brings about the problem of excessive quality supervision workers, but the effect of quality improvement is not obvious and so on.How to strengthen and improve the quality management, improve the economic efficiency of enterprises, is the starting point of this paper.The research on the quality management of RS companywas aiming to the general problems of quality management, just like the suppliers management is not standardized or process quality control is missing, and the inspection process is unreasonable. Take the quality control and quality improvement as a starting point to improve and enhance the quality management level of companies, in addition to keep the importance and methods of implementing guarantee. Therefore, the shipbuilding enterprises can improve the productsquality and increase economic benefits by solving the problems exposed in the process of manufacturing using quality management.
