Analysis Of Enshi Farmers In The Stability Of The Team

Enshi tobacco industry occupies the irreplaceable important position on the progress of local economy development, which is also the critical component of local economy, and it has been the largest tobacco production base in Hubei province. But, currently, Enshi tobacco industry has the problems of losing tobacco growers and aggravated aging situation. Because of the intensive labor, high production cost, lower income comes from growing tobacco than doing jobs outside their countryside, lower infrastructure construction and professional technical service level, modern young people give up growing tobacco, as a result, the stability of tobacco growers team is seriously threatened. On this background, this paper will carry on the deep investigation and analysis, and try to find out the factors which influence the stability of the Enshi tobacco farmers team and then put forward corresponding measures.This paper is based on Labor Force Transfer Theory. This theory holds the opinion that current agricultural income is too low, therefore, farmers choose to work outside their countryside, which is responsible for a large number of labor transfer, and it also provides a theoretical basis for researching the losses of tobacco farmers team. In addition, the domestic and foreign scholars have studied the Theory of Agricultural Support, Sustainable Development Theory and the Sustainable Development Theory for Tobacco Industry, which obtained a series of achievements, and provided a lot of reference for this article.This paper analyze the stability of tobacco farmers team comprehensively from three aspects: macro, meso and micro. On macro aspect, through the econometric analysis, trying to research the factors of affecting labor force of countries transfer to cities; on meso aspect, by the questionnaire survey carried among Enshi tobacco farmers come from various counties,the related statistics of the tobacco growing can be collected, through data analysis on current team,it can be easily found out whether sustainable development would be realized in Enshi tobacco farmers team; on micro aspect, carrying on the household investigation on typical tobacco farmers, accessing to the details,such as the basic tobacco growing situation of different age paragraph, including the costs and incomes, the difficulties encountered in the process of cultivation and the assistances they need.According to the above analysis, following conclusion can be drawn: the stability of Enshi tobacco farmers team is feasible by establishing a reasonable system of land circulation enlarging the management scale, offering better specialized services, supplying subsidies for them on the processes of growing tobacco so as to lower their costs, at the same time, raising tobacco farmers’ net income by increasing purchasing prices of tobacco. With these measures, it will be able to change the trend of aging and tobacco farmers team quit problems. Meanwhile, the stability of the Enshi tobacco farmers team can be guaranteed, the sustainable development of Enshi tobacco industry would be realized.
