The Design And Achieve Of The Aerospace Production In B Department A Institute

Aerospace manufacturing enterprises are well-known for their high-grade, precise and advanced products, which are of enormous influence, involving many companies and organizations, and features complicated structures and long production cycles. T he production phases thus are placed in a significant position in these enterprises. As now, the production of aerospace products is becoming increasingly challenging and the demand has exceeded B department of A institute's production capacity, as a result of which, the analysis and redesign of its existing production line has become a necessity.In this paper, the categories, characteristics of the aerospa ce products and the capacity of the production line will be analyzed first. In the meantime, the goal and construction strategy of a new production line will be concluded after an analysis on the demand of the products in a few years ahead. The C-2 oil pump series is chosen as the object of the study. Considering the aerospace products are produced with many varieties but small amount, the feasibility of applying a new module production mode is analyzed in the second part of the paper, where the modules are categorized with Product Flow Analysis and Classification methods, and the production is redesigned according to module types, production sequences and the number of operators required. At last, a series of measures are suggested safeguarding the operatin g and continuously increasing of the capacity of the production line from the perspectives of information construction, the settings of the posts and its staffing and the environmental construction of infrastructure of the production line. After all the analysis and solutions suggested, the redesigned production line is expected to meet demands.The research conducted in this paper indicates that the module production mode in aerospace manufacturing is feasible and its safeguarding measures will be efficient and effective. At the same time, the study object and research method applied in the paper would be a valuable reference to production line constructions in other industries, which share the same characteristics with aerospace manufacturing.
