| In recent 20 years, China has witnessed rapid development in logistics industry, and its leading role in the development of other industrial and regional economy has been recognized by a growing number of people. As a significant part of modern logistics, aviation logistics takes the lead in the development of logistics industry due to its rapidness and convenience.Particularly, against the background where economic integration is increasingly deepened and the economic development of China is adjusted structurally, the development of aviation logistics industry in the coming 10 years will be still promising under the influence of the factors such as the rise of domestic express industry.Established in 1953 as the earliest civil aviation airport in China, Kashgar Airport has long suffered from slow growth under the influence of the factors such as the economy,territory and air route of Kashgar region. In recent years, however, with the support of western development strategy and aid program for Xinjiang, Kashgar Airport has played an increasingly remarkable role in international aviation port in reliance on the unique regional advantage that Kashgar faces Central Asia, West Asia and South Asia. In September 2013,particularly, China suggested rebuilding Silk Road Economic Belt. As the important city of the Silk Road, Kashgar seized the chance to construct the commercial logistics distribution center that connects central-eastern part of China and Central, South and West Asia. The research on the development of regional international aviation logistics hub in Kashgar Airport is of great significance to not only the development of Kashgar Airport, but also to the development of commercial logistics distribution center in Kashgar region.Firstly, an introduction is given to the research significance and thoughts of this paper,and the concepts and major characteristics of regional aviation logistics hub are summarized in combination with domestic and foreign development experience from the perspective of aviation logistics theories. Then, attention is paid to introducing the development situation of the aviation logistics industry in Kashgar Airport, and analyzing the internal and external development environment of regional aviation logistics hub by dint of PEST and SWOT model. Besides, the future handling capacity of aviation logistics industry in Kashgar Airportis predicted by means of multiple linear regression prediction. On this basis, benchmarking method is utilized to draw inspirations from the mature development experience of aviation logistics hub at home and abroad in combination with the actual condition of Kashgar Airport.Finally, a targeted development strategy is proposed in the hope of providing reference for the development of regional international aviation logistics hub in Kashgar Airport. |
