Nowadays, the ecological environment around the world are deteriorating and human survival is threatened. As a result of it, the development of circular economy has become a hot topic. In 2015, the government proposed to actively promote economic restructuring and upgrading, and the manufacturing sector is the focus of rectification and reform. In the same year, our country also implemented a new environmental law. It means that the government will seriously treat the environmental pollution problems. In order to control the total energy consumption, the manufacturing sector is one of the key targets of strengthening energy conservation. Faced with government regulation, legal constraints and public opinion pressure, manufacturing enterprises have to take necessary measures to achieve "Green Development". One of these measures is to implement green supply chain management. Green supply chain management emphasis on the joint development of the socio-economic and ecological environment, requiring companies to consider environmental factors in product design, packaging, procurement, production, sales, logistics, waste, recycling and other aspects. Supplier is the “Source” of the entire supply chain, and the green supplier selection is the foundation of green supply chain management. The quality of suppliers will directly affect the environmental performance of enterprises.First, the green supply chain management and the traditional supply chain management were compared, then the characteristics of green supplier partnerships were analyzed from various aspects. Based on this, the paper summarized the relevant literature about the evaluation and selection of green suppliers, then built green supplier evaluation and selection criterion from four aspects, including environmental factors, product factors, cost factors and cooperation factors. For the vagueness and ambiguity of the green supplier selection process, the paper used Fuzzy Inference System as a tool to design green supplier evaluation and selection model based on the theory of fuzzy control, including the designs for membership functions for green indices evaluation value and weight, the designs for fuzzy rule base and the designs for input data processing method. In the context of an automobile manufacturer, the paper used Matlab to simulate the process of green supplier selection, then chose the appropriate green suppliers for the company according to the simulation results. It verified the validity of the model. Finally, the paper analyzed and evaluated the simulation result and the model, pointed out the innovations of this study and made research prospects for the inadequate.
