Study On Supplier Evaluation And Selection Under Green Supply Chain Management

Nowadays,the international business environment forces a great number of enterprises to obtain a competitive advantage by focusing on supply chain management.With the growing global environmental awareness and the increasing range of relevant environmental laws and regulations,enterprises are faced with more stringent environmental requirements.Under the current background of green development,enterprises have to improve relations with the environment and take environmental strategies into effect in the process of production,consumption,customer service and waste disposal in order to reduce environmental impact of the entire supply chain.At present,more and more enterprises integrate other members of the supply chain to implement environmental management,which is called green supply chain management.Green supplier selection is one of the most important part of green supply chain management.Selecting environmentally friendly supplier helps to improve the green level of the supply chain.This thesis studies the core manufacturing enterprises in the supply chain and the primary suppliers directly related to them and discusses the evaluation and selection of suppliers under green supply chain management.Based on the connotation of green supply chain management,We establish a multi-level,more perfect,more comprehensive and practical supplier evaluation index system,which includes quality,cost,service and development potential,stability of the cooperation,environmental protection level and so on.Considering the uncertainty and ambiguity of human subjective judgment,this thesis combines fuzzy set theory with Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)and Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to an Ideal Solution(TOPSIS)to construct a green supplier selection and selection model based on fuzzy AHP and fuzzy FTOPSIS.At First,we use fuzzy AHP to determine the index weight,then we use fuzzy TOPSIS to sort green suppliers.Green supplier selection is more complex than the traditional supplier selection,whichincorporates lots of unquantifiable information,incomplete information and something difficult to obtain.This model allows decision makers to introduce these uncertainties into the decision model,and can solve the problem of quality,quantity,vagueness and uncertainty in green supplier evaluation and selection effectively and rationally.Fuzzy AHP and Fuzzy TOPSIS complement each other,but also play to their own advantages,making the evaluation results more accurate.Finally,the case of G company showed the application,ease and efficiency of the proposed approach.The sensitivity analysis results also showed the stability of the proposed model.
