Study On The Development Mode Of Modern Service Industry In Weihai City

With the development of the global economy and the process of urbanization moving forward rapidly, the status and role of service industries, especially modern service industry continues to improve in national economy. Based on both the great role of modern service industry in pushing economic growth, promoting the employment and its features of low energy consumption, low pollution and high added value, to develop modern service industry vigorously is not only an important issue our country being faced with today and tomorrow, but also the main content that can achieve the goal, the transformation of the economic development pattern and the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure, which is of great significance to China's economic and social development. Weihai, as a coastal open city, in recent years, has developed the modern service industry rapidly. However, compared with the advanced cities, there are still some issues, such as the total quantity is not enough, the internal structure is irrational, the underdevelopment of industries, and so on. To investigate and explore the development model of modern service industry in Weihai can not only provide theoretical support for decision-making on the development of modern service industry, but also offer practical reference to other cities in China on the development research of modern service industry.The thesis discusses the related theoretical foundation of modern service industry, which defines the meaning, characteristics, types and the scope of modern service industry. It summarizes and generalizes the current development situation and future trends of the modern service industry, and on this basis, the development situation of modern service industry in Weihai were commented. After a brief introduction of the typical development pattern of modern service industry in domestic and foreign representative cities, the research builds the development structural model of modern service industry in Weihai from the two aspects of industrial development and carrier support, according to the construction principles of the development model of the modern service industry in Weihai and by learning related theories about industrial economics and research results on industrial agglomeration. Around the two models being constructed, it builds the security measures for the development of modern service industry in Weihai from four aspects, the policy environment, funding, personnel security, and management and evaluation, and specifically it puts forward some detailed suggestions.Around the specific industry and carrier relied on, the thesis discusses the development path, which the author hopes it is helpful to promoting the leaping development of industry.
