Research On The Problems And Coping Measures Of The Development Of Modern Service Industry Of Furong District

In contemporary society, the modern service industry has entered a period ofcomprehensive development. The degree of development of modern service industryhas been an important sign to measure of a region, city or even the country’scompetitiveness, modernization and internationalization. With its entry into the WTO,China has been facing the background of the shift of international service industry andmore intense international and domestic competition. Furong District, as the centraldistrict of the provincial capital city of central China, how to seize the opportunitiesto maintain our edge, to raise the overall level of modern service industry in FurongDistrict has been a critical task.In this paper, based on the study of literature, analysis of the concepts，classification, the development process and the theoretical basis of modern serviceindustry was done; the investigation on nearly six years of statistical data of Changsha,Furong District was performed; analysis of the opportunities, challenges,problems andthe causes of the problems of the development of modern service industry of FurongDistrict was analyzed; the successful experience of governments in the developmentof modern service industry at home and aboard was referred to; at last the policysuggestions on the development of modern service industry of Furong District wasproposed.In the studying process, we applied the economics, statistics, informationmanagement and other related knowledge. And with the methods as literature analysis,statistical analysis, comparative analysis and so on, a large number of data analyzedand summarized. In order to make research results more scientific and more reality,this article through field research and investigation, a professional analysis of thedevelopment of Furong District was done.In this paper, a multi-level research on the macro and micro level of the modernservice industry of Furong District was conducted. And with the rest districts ofChangsha, a comparative analysis was performed. And ultimately some reasonable,forward-looking and practical coping measures on the development of Furong Districtmodern service industry were promoted. The findings will of important reference value be for the development of modernservice industry in Furong District, but also can be used as reference for other parts ofmodern service industry development.
