Analysis Of Supply Chain Coordination And Drive Factor Design In Fast Fashion Industry

With the development of the mass’ living and the fashion style, the feature of clothing industry supply chain has changed a lot. Different from the traditional manufacturing logistics, the rapid change of style and low price has decided the whole industry would produce low life-cycle products. Thus, a proper designed supply chain system should have a quick reaction to the ever changing market, low inventory and shortage and less cost consuming.This problem has become a common challenge faced by all the companies.In this essay, two main-stream clothing supply chain chosen from prenatal experience were analyzed and the better one is found out. Some driven factors are designed to let all the clothing companies take this better mode. Now most of the research on supply chain coordination are focused on applying mathematic models and find new coordination methods, few could get cooperation to the existing mode and use the dynamic methods. Thus, this essay tried to get a more practical mode through analyzing the existing mode and design stimulation under the background of most clothing manufacturers. The result should be more practical.First, guided by studying the paper, two classic supply chain has be selected from the clothing industry. One purchasing fix manufacturing mode means one purchasing and fixed production process and multi-purchasing flex manufacturing mode show a multi-purchasing and soft production. By building a systematic dynamic model, the data from real world is used. The result showed that multi-purchasing flex manufacturing mode is better than one purchasing flex manufacturing’s in terms of inventory and manufacturing time. Then, by using expectation functions, the performance of once purchasing and twice purchasing are compared and the relative Pareto area is found. The reason why twice purchasing is not is the Pareto area are analyzed and the result showed rocked margin cost and lower purchasing is the factor. Thus, three stimulation factors about increasing the purchasing and reduce the margin cost are brought and this has a practical meaning.
