In the 21 st century, the economics of China has got a new round of rapid development, while driving the rapid development of civil aviation industry of China. The annual growth of the amount of flights is nearly 20%. The contradiction between growing flights and the shortage of airport security personnel has arisen gradually and it highly possible leads to the airport their fatigue working. It is well known that fatigue working is one of the most important human factors in security check. And this usually leads to “error, oblivion and oversight”events during their works. Therefore,it's necessary to analyze the fatigue situation and make scientific measures to relieve fatigue condition and improve the level of aviation safety.By consulting domestic and overseas mature fatigue self-assessment scale while with practical work experience of the security personnel, the factors affecting fatigue were defined. Seven physiological indexes were designed on base of the principle of physiology. Then the plan of measurement was determined to test the healthy situation of the security personnel. It helps us have an objectively knowledge of the healthy situation of the security personnel. The reliability, validity, correlation and ANOVA were analyzed to test the validity of fatigue self-assessment scale and physiological indexes measuring scale. Finally, the fatigue self-assessment scale and physiological indexes measuring scale were obtained. Using the two scales and Risk-Matrix method, the fatigue situation of the airport security personnel is evaluated. Based on the information about relationship between working hours and unsafe events, existing data in the airports and experts' opinions, the possibility of fatigue working for the security is also evaluated. Then the fatigue risk index is got by fatigue severity rating and possibility based on Risk-Matrix method. Finally, some airport security personnel is aimed to attend fatigue risk assessment to validate the applicability and effectiveness of the method. In combination with the airport busy and off seasons, some corresponding countermeasures and measures were put forward. An example shows that the method is effective. It provides a reference for some questions such as determining the influence factors of security fatigue, fatigue degree and fatigue risk assessment.
